Consulting Services

Consulting services are based on GE's well known programs of Work-Out and the Change Acceleration Process (CAP).  The premise that the people closest to the work know best what needs to be done is at the core of our philosophy.  And, by tapping into this vast resource with a sound leadership process dramatic top-line and bottom-line results can be achieved.  Specific consulting areas of focus:

bulletManagement Process Improvement
bulletChange Management
bulletEffective Meeting Design and Facilitation
bulletTeam Development and Facilitation
bulletGE Style Work-Out

Facilitative Leader Workshop

An important part of the WorkSmart Mission is to help organizations develop in-house capabilities.  Much of this is accomplished through hands-on problem solving activities and processes.  Additional skills are developed and honed in the Facilitative Leader Workshop, a three day program that teaches participants about leading teams, facilitation basics, and coaching.  Students receive videotaped feedback on their improvement over the course of the program.  Major focus areas:

bulletFacilitation basics
bulletDeveloping teams
bulletEffective meetings
bulletProcess improvement tools and techniques

Change Management Workshop

Managing change and acceptance in an organization is paramount to success.  The Change Management Workshop, 2-1/2 days in length, introduces a model for change and allows participants to apply tools to specific initiatives.  Teams should leave the session with detailed plans for accelerating and improving their change efforts.  Areas of Focus*:

bulletCreating a Sense of Urgency
bulletShaping Actionable Vision and Strategy
bulletCommunication
bulletMobilizing Commitment
bulletMonitoring Progress
bulletKeeping Change Alive
